Somerset Seedless Grape Vine

The Somerset Seedless Grape is a winter hardy, medium-sized vine.  When eating, a firm and crisp flesh quickly gives way to juicy, strawberry-like flavor. Moderately vigorous plants with small to medium sized compact clusters. Somerset is quite disease resistant but may require a spray program for downy mildew control in some areas. Large crops of of grapes only get sweeter as you let them ripen from pink to red. Great for juice and making jelly.

Do these grapes need to be grown on a trellis or fence? How far apart should grapes be planted?

Somerset Seedless Grape is a trailing vine which should be trellised. You can use the modified munson trellis system. Looking online, you will find many images for this system. Plant the vines 6 ft. apart.
